As passenger numbers in aviation are returning back to normal after the Covid-19 crisis, the effects of problematic staff policies are starting to show: Staff shortages lead to extreme pressure for many colleagues and a lot of flights are being cancelled. We need changes now!
Swiss on the Rise – the Staff Must Not Pay the Price
With this headline, SEV-GATA reacted to Swiss's news that the company would renounce its federal loan guarantees prematurely. The company's remarkably good financial situation should now prevent the crisis CLA for ground staff from entering into force even without legal proceedings. We have provided detailed information in a special Swiss Member Mail.
Swissport Zurich: Current State of Negotiations
In a survey, the affected members have stated their opinions clearly. If the working conditions at Swissport Zurich do not improve, the crisis CLA is to be terminated at the end of the year. The enormous pressure on employees due to staff shortages clearly shows the need for action for all those involved. We provided more detailed information in a special Swissport Zurich Member Mail.
Swissport Geneva: We Urgently Demand True Recognition for Employees
wissport Geneva is still reluctant to enter into negotiations to recognize employees for their extraordinary performance in the current situation. We will remain adamant.
