"Swiss Cargo" applies for short-term work
LTSW negotiates on CLA
SEV-GATA ready for the future

Dear members,

 "Swiss Cargo"applies for short-term work
Along with the change at the top Swiss continues with its policy. The slow transition of the leadership doesn't keep Swiss management from combating the continuous recession with concrete measures. Applying for short-term work Swiss takes advantage of the current opportunities to get over the economic slump by adequate measures. By making most of the planned investments Swiss shows that it is ready for upswing.

LTSW negotiates on CLA
SEV-GATA opened CLA negotiations with the LTSW management on 28 May, 2009 placing clear-cut demands on a "new "CLA. A transparent wage policy which is easy to understand together with clearly defined wage talk processes and arbitration proceedings are the benchmarks of our positions. More info to follow.

SEV-GATA ready for the future
At the congress of the SEV, the greatest transport staff union, the 250 delegates agreed to a structural reform by a large majority. This will enable us to react quickly and effectively to any given facts and conflicts with the employers. Basically our union movement and our scope for action will be improved by the new structures.

On the websites of SEV and SEV-GATA you can find a job advertisement offering a temporary employment in the SEV-aviation sector - a task that will not only be worthwhile for you personally.

With committed regards,
SEV-GATA, your union of the aviation industry
