Chocolate Promotion
Dear colleagues,
The aviation sector has entered the season for wage negotiations – just like many other industries. Thanks to our current collective labour agreements (CLAs), we are entitled to these negotiations.
Wage Negotiations
Although inflation remains low, rising health insurance premiums and housing costs are a growing cause of concern in many household budgets. While aviation has always been highly volatile, it is hard to deny that, for example, Swiss has been in a very strong position for years and regularly reports profits well above the industry average. Accordingly, salary negotiations at Swiss are in full swing already – further information will follow soon.
The distribution of the Swiss performance bonus has also raised numerous questions. So far, we have found no violations of regulations. If you are unsure, we recommend asking your supervisor to explain how your individual bonus was determined. If you suspect a violation of CLA provisions, please submit a legal protection request with the relevant documents so that we can provide individual support to our members.
CLA Negotiations 2026
Next year, CLA negotiations will take place both at Swiss (nationwide) and Swissport Zurich. For our Swiss members, we are currently finalising a survey to define our demands. Information about the process and participation options will follow shortly in a special Member Mail CLA-Swiss, addressed to the affected members.
Chocolate Promotion
This year, SEV-GATA colleagues will distribute chocolate bars to members and not-yet-members alike. They come with a clear message:

- Swiss Basel: Monday, 17 November 2025
- Swissport Zurich: Monday, 1 December, afternoon
- Swiss Zurich, Obstgartenstrasse: Thursday, 4 December 2025
- Swiss Zurich, Airside: Tuesday, 9 December, approx. 2 p.m.
- Geneva Airport: Nov./Dec.
