GM SEV-GATA: register now!
On June 28, 2016, 17.15 h the 2016 general meeting (GM) of SEV-GATA will take place. At first we’ll visit the federal parliament in a guided tour. After that we’ll deal with the regular items, and Peter Müller, former director of BAZL, will give a report on “Wild West in Air Traffic?” Finally you’ll be invited for an Apéro-Riche.

Engine shop Basle – future
Following the alterations of the fleet the engine shop Basle is expected to shut down in the middle of 2017. The staff concerned will be offered a job in Zurich. We’d like to advise our members in sorting out their initial situation and to get to know their concerns with regard to the forthcoming move and to put them forward in our negotiations with Swiss.
Elections SEV-Delegation Migration Commission
During the coming GM we’ll also be voting for the next term of office 2017-2020. Our SEV (MK SEV) delegate, Paolo Tuzzi, has resigned. That’s why we’re looking for a new delegate in the migration commission. All interested persons may report to me, Philipp Hadorn, directly.
National Demo on September 10, 2016
Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 13.30 h in Berne: national demo with all SGB trade unions: subject “pension scheme 2020″ and our ‟AHV plus- initiative″ taking place on September 25, 2016. Further info to follow.
Legal cost insurance with success
SEV-GATA members benefit from the union’s legal cost insurance. Presently there are several proceedings going on for individual persons. Also in the months before we’ve been able (or rather had) to secure thousands of Francs for our members against aviation companies. The legal protection department is publishing a report on the successful ‟commitment for our members‟ every year.
