Merry Christmas and a Successful 2017!
Dear colleagues
Swiss airline employees have been less affected by turbulence in 2016 than their colleagues abroad.
But the industry is and remains extremely volatile. Contrary to the trend we’ve again been able to negotiate pay rises for 2017. This was only possible because the level of membership is steadily growing and our social partners know very well that the industrial peace would be severely endangered if talks with SEV-GATA failed.
At the end of the year I’d like to thank you. Thanks to the loyalty of our members we’ve been able to represent their interests actively and consistently also last year. Not only with successful collective bargaining but also by handling a growing number of individual requests for job protection we could help make the world of employment become a little more just.
This is also our common goal for 2017.
