GATA: 20 Years as Part of SEV, the Largest Transport Workers' Union in Switzerland
Dear Colleagues
The aviation department “Groundstaff Aviation Technics and Administration” (GATA), was founded in 2000 and has been part of SEV since 2004. SEV itself was founded in 1919.
We have lots of exciting reports on the department's history, core areas, and current challenges available on two extra pages in the SEV newspaper (No. 5, 19 April 2024) in German, French, and English.
Our websites www.sev-gata.ch and www.sev-online.ch also provide a broad insight on our work as a trade union.
The Labour Day events throughout Switzerland offer a good opportunity to celebrate and experience the solidarity among all workers with the slogan "Lower Premiums, Higher Salaries!" Information on each local event can be found at https://www.sgb.ch/1mai.
